We will see. It wouldn't shock me with all the talk floating around about the big 3, if only one of them ended up going top 10. Everyone wants Luck type pick with the top 10. And how do you pass up what looks to be surefire awesome prospects in Clowney and Watkins for a QB missing a few things from his checklist? Not sure I could do it.

 

I think NFL will always err towards the prototypical when drafting. I look at guys like Geno Smith and E.J. Manuel and I don't understand how E.J. jumped up, other than he had all the measurable's. Teddy isn't 6'5" with a great arm and a large frame. If he was, I am sure he would be a #1 guy, but as is, I think you have a hard time passing on someone like Clowney (who is elite on all measurable's) to get Teddy (who has a high floor but questionable ceiling). Plus drafting a bad QB is the quickest way to get fired. If it was my job on the line. I pick Clowney or Watkins every time. Yeah it might stink if Teddy was decent, but if I got an elite reciever or passrusher its not so bad. And if I had drafted Teddy and he turns out to be a game manager/backup type I am fired.
