Per law, they have to keep the images, just like they have to keep the ballots. They have no clue where these ballots came from or how they were counted since images don't exist.

The second issue you brought up has already been admitted in court that they didn't perform a hand recount of the ballots per the law. You should stay current on what actually happened instead of relying on the media to tell you.

Here are 2 links, you can ignore the commentary if you want but the screenshots show the law wasn't followed. They are still arguing in court or ignoring the material impact on the election though.
