Lets say Bortles/Bridgewater go 1-2 and Jags are on the clock...We aren't sold on Clowney so we trade back to somewhere between 6-9 and we pick up another second round pick.  We then Draft Eric Ebron, TE North Carolina at 6-9 of the first round, then get our highest rated QB in the 2nd round or now have the ammo to trade back into the first round if we need to go up and get someone like Garapolo.

 

Thoughts? 

If Clowney is on the board at our pick (in this scenario), we take all but 1 minute before they turn in that pick.

 

All this talk about Clowney not being motivated, etc. Isn't Gus the perfect HC for him? All you've been hearing about is how infectious Gus is. Players want to play for him. Well, in my opinion Clowney would then be the ultimate test to that theory. You fill a big need and he's the BAP. There's absolutely no other option, if it were to play out like the above.

 

Now If both Clowney and Bridgewater are there at #3, I would definitely have to take a long hard thought about where I'd go with that pick.
