Carr will stand in and take the shots he just wants to avoid them and still complete the pass. He just needs to learn that wont always happen and to slide better in the pocket left and right to create space instead of just backing up. No he isnt "afraid" and doesnt jump from phantom pressure a guy really does have to be in his face to affect him he just has enough arm to feel he can backfoot throws all day and avoid the hits.  I feel that is fixable at the NFL level as Eli and Favre both used to do the same thing.

 

That said i wouldnt take him unles we trade way back in the first or he lasts until our 2nd rounder and even then i might take a look at McCarron in the 2nd first.
