I wouldn’t have played it, either. And I give Norvell credit for playing knowing this was coming. But even full strength minus Travis, the talent is still not in the same ballpark as Georgia, who is also missing a couple of their top players. Imagine if they had Bowers, who may be the best player in next years draft.

So basically, the games mean nothing and neither does your final season record. 

So why play these games if only a certain handful of teams are going to get to play in the playoffs despite their record?

Injuries are part of the game, not an excuse to snub a team.

This is nothing but a glorified scrimmage game.

Because if we put FSU in, they’d have gotten humiliated and we’d be sitting here saying how the hell did they get in the final four.

The committee put it in their rules that injuries can alter their rankings. And if you watched that Louisville and Florida game, FSU without Travis is horrible. For the record, Georgia, Bama, Michigan and Texas to me are far and away the best 4.
