I think Clowney is another victim of media hype

He is billed as a once in a generation prospect and to be that you have to be better than alot of very good players so when he falls short people go mental


i am not concerned by his down year but his attitude concerns me


I think it is a cultural difference but from what he says in interviews and even the way he talks I find him nonchalant


Even that interview he knows he has to be hard on me suggests he needs to be pushed to succeed


Different players tick in different ways but watching Clowney I don't see the inner fire or happiness that I see watching say cyprian


Watching cyprian bounce round the field like all his dreams had come true was a delight and epitomised what I love about bradleys locker room ethos


I don't see that in Clowney but if Bradley does and believes he can unlock it we would be mad to pass on him at 3
