I am all for keeping players we have drafted and developed, within reason. It's a lot easier to maintain chemistry this way and he already knows the system, etc. Doubtful you'll find a cheaper upgrade in free agency. Finding one in the draft is probable, but, it's one of those situations where, does he play LT or RT?

I like Harrison's development so far as a rookie at RT. I don't want to see this team get into a situation where they're asking him to move over to LT already in year two. While trying to reestablish that right side again with an over the hill Scherff. Walker Little let us down. That's really what this boils down to.

I agree with #1, problem is we don't really know. My gut says he will as there will be upfront money involved, but if he doesn't that may force their hand. That would most likely trigger a survey of teams that may be interested in him for that last year, available free agents and can Ezra move to LT. 

Number 2 is a crap shoot. An upgrade will cost as much as we would be paying Cam but allow the cap hit to be spread.  I place this in the "Sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't" arena.

I would hate to have to execute #3 as we need this to get a quality Guard/center like we did with Harrison at RT.  This also may depend on their expectations of Tugboat next year too.
