The correct answer. QB contracts are only going one way and the Josh Allen situation is the perfect example. You wait until he has a season he 'earns it' and its going to cost you way more.

We've spoken about this a few times and I don't see Lawrence as the kind of player to demand it, but I see Shad as the kind of owner who would do it to show Lawrence what he means to the team.

The current top 5 isĀ 

Burrow- $55m
Mahomes- $52.6m
Herbert- $52.5m
Lamar- $52m
Hurts- $51m

I think we end up around $52m-$54m a year which in 3-4 years will probably be like 6th or 7th on the list.
