This is true, but the whole thing about football and elite teams is that they have plans B, C, D, E, and F. So when the ideal call doesn't get executed or someone makes a bad play/penalty, they can still maneuver into other situations to win the game.

More often than not on offense, it just feels like if plan A doesn't work -- either on single play/progression, during a drive with one hiccup, or during a game when the other team makes adjustments; this team more often cannot pivot into something else that works.

Banking on plan A works if you have the best talented roster on the field, which the Jags don't. Against elite teams and in the playoffs, plan A won't work most of the time.
