FSG saying I want to force people to live on top of each other, the rest of those mentioned agreed, saying that gas prices alone would force people to live on top of each other and stop driving. Said I was trolling for disagreeing because in y'all's minds it was self evident that Democrats are going to pack everyone into dense housing with no cars.

Dude, you have remarkable short-term vision. It's undoubtably the goal to move people into city centers and public transportation. You know this. It's part of your naive "optimism." Force is the word if eventually remove all other options. The fact that it hasn't happened in 3  years isn't proof of absence of this goal. It's just not feasible yet.
