Yes, a lot of Democrats want gas prices to go up.  Yes, they favor policies that usually (and recently did) cause inflation.
They also favor... wait for it... electric cars and hybrid cars.
If they really wanted to herd you into dense cities using only buses to get around, they would not be trying to create these additional options.
Think!

Think, he says. You make me laugh, dude. Learn, then think. Our disconnect is a direct result of what you refuse to know.

The following paper from the WEF outlines EXACTLY what FSG was saying needed to happen, and the Democrats are following the playbook to a T. More compact cities and reducing vehicles from 2.1 billion (1.5 billion of just passenger cars) to .5 billion by 2050. That's 30 years. They are doing exactly what we say they are doing. They are telling you what they are doing. You're just mistake your naivety for intelligence.

WEF_The_Urban_Mobility_Scorecard_Tool_2023.pdf (weforum.org)
  • SEAM Transport Modes: Advocates for the growth of shared, electric, connected, and automated (SEAM) transport modes to reduce projected vehicle numbers by 2050 to half a billion.
  • Emissions Reduction: Aims to cut emissions from passenger vehicles by 80% compared to a business-as-usual scenario, potentially reducing CO2 in the atmosphere by 3.9 billion tons annually.
  • Compact Cities: Emphasizes the shift to more compact cities to support the efficient use of SEAM transport modes.
  • Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool: Introduces a tool to help cities assess and benchmark their progress towards sustainable urban mobility, considering factors like infrastructure, policy, and technology.
  • Case Studies: Includes case studies from different cities to illustrate the application of the scorecard tool and the benefits of adopting SEAM transport modes.
  • Policy and Planning Guidance: Provides guidance for city planners and policymakers on developing strategies for sustainable urban mobility.

Where in this report is anyone forced to give up their car? Which police force answers to the WEF?
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
