Dunno that I would even go that far. I would do nothing person-to-person until league year/tampering begins. Don't want to give the lawyas anything to get their claws into. Baalke has publicly stated that we want him here, and that's plenty to suggest that a deal will be offered in time.
Don’t think it’s tampering because he’s technically a Jaguar right now. The new league year hasn’t started.

Could be wrong though.

Correct, he's under contract until the 13th of March. He's permitted to talk to other team's beginning the 11th, but the Jaguars can talk to him at will from now until then.
