For those who didn't read the article, the concern isn't that pets or children or the elderly will try to eat them. They think that problem is under control now because they made the outsides bitter. The concern is that the polymer holding them together goes into the wastewater and out into the lakes, streams, and oceans. Some scientists say the polymer dissolves and biodegrades and doesn't disrupt life and other scientists say it doesn't. When the science is uncertain and the amount of potential pollution is very small, I'd tend to say keep an eye on it and don't ban it yet.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
