This is a great comparison. Almost perfect comparison.

I don't see that. 

Branch was like 5'9 and didn't look like Ridley does coming out of breaks - different style of play IMO. 

The only similarity I see at all is that Branch was good at fooling DBs about where the route was going - just like Ridley is. They both get DBs to bite the wrong way.  They look really different doing it though.

Plus -Branch did most of his best work from the slot. 
Ridley is naturally a Z receiver forced to play X for the Jags.
