But it's not necessary to get rid of Fortner to do that. Fortner can also back up at OG, and the new center prospect could possibly also back up at OG.

True, I just have little faith in Fortner to be any good this next season and would rather a clean break to move on. If we can recoup some value by making part of a trade I would be for it.
