You do not draft a QB because he is excited, has buzz.

You draft the QB who will become the guy, when you start winning. There will be buzz and excitement.

Right now Johnny is  SHINY, ohhh got to have that.

and that is done by drafting the QB who GM and HC feel is the best path forward.
