Why come on here if none of the conversations start with arguing in good faith? It just turns into bashing each other and nothing good comes from it.

I agree with things from both parties. I don’t think men who think they’re women should be playing against women. I think weed should be legal. I love cold beer and steak. I also watch Vanderpump Rules. I think I’m like 98% of America in that I’m pretty close to the middle. The issue is that you have some people on this board who are very far right and they pounce on anyone who may lean slightly left. You have had people on this board saying they wish death to all liberals. How can you possibly have conversations on this board with people who believe that?

America and this board should try and do better.

And if it’s not clear, far left liberals and far right conservatives are both crazy.

This goes both ways, man. The left started calling traditional conservatives far right and racist and fascist. It's all out of hand. 

I truly have no problem with the general sentiment of this post, but I have grown tired of the one-way ratchet that the establishment uses to move Americans. It's kabuki theater. We post about the dumbest [BLEEP] here. Meanwhile, 1000-page omnibus bill gets passed in the middle of the night. Look at the front page of this thread? Who's talking about law? Who's talking about what's actually being passed for Americans? 

I am telling you right now, the establishment does not care about America anymore. It's about corporate global power and dominance. You guys quibbling about lies is just taking your eye off the ball. We have to stop defending party-line policies and start collectively organizing around our own interests. More importantly, I hope we wake up and stop justifying why we tolerate these political hacks who do nothing to advance our interests. 

At least with Trump we saw improvement in our lives, because he at least wants HIS country to be great. His narcissism is my friend in this instance, and if I have to put up with his ego and lying, it's better for ME than the alternative. Trump is not for us, certainly, but he is showing you the underbelly of DC, which is most definitely NOT for us. That's good. I hope it falls apart.
