He overvalued his home and sold it.
He undervalued his home when paying taxes on it.

None of those things are against any laws but that is the point. The state "appraised" at a much lower than market value. He sold it at market value.

The issue is he claims Trump broke the law when he said his properties were worth more than some judge thinks well after they have been paid. He also claims that the "appraised" value from the state is the actual worth of the property.

You can't have it both ways, it's Trump is guilty, along with everyone else in NY who has gotten a loan, paid taxes, etc, or no o ne is guilty. James looks to have broken lots of laws with her finances and loans.
