The WR room will certainly be an issue for me. They have zero young talent at WR and they can't keep throwing money at that position. They have to get younger and faster.

What if Zay isn't 100% back? Are we really confident in starting Tim Jones on the outside? I love Kirk and Engram in the MOF but they have no one on the outside that defenses fear. Even Gabe is a WR2 with a limited route tree.

Pederson's offense isn't really WR1 dependent dating back to Philly. Having Kirk, Davis, Jones, Washington, and Duvernay already takes up all the spots they need save another outside guy who will likely just play teams all year. It's likely that WR snaps in total decrease this year as they add in more 2 TE sets now that Strange is a year in. I do agree they need a guy, but the guy is someone as a safety net/developmental talent, we already have more skill guys that we have balls for. If they do take a guy in round 1 then I don't think they keep Zay for exactly that reason, that's too much money for a guy who gets maybe 5 looks a game after Engram, ETN, Kirk, Davis and the new guy get theirs.
