Due to all the smoke out there, I thought Id put together some scenarios and see how much crap i get from yall and your thoughts on this craziness..

 

 

I think we are in the BEST spot in the draft, hear me out before you bash me...here are a couple scenarios that could play out from rumors ive read and my opinion(right or wrong)

 

Scenario 1

1. Houston take Bortles

2. Rams take Robinson

3. Atlanta comes up as many expect to grab Clowney, We get at least 6, 2nd rd pick and a 4th..

4. Browns take Watkins

5.Oakland takes Teddy

6. Jags take Johnny...this is a win for us, I prefer Clowney but at this time we need multiple playmakers so getting extra picks goes a long way

 

Scenario 2

1. Houston take Bortles

2. Rams take Robinson

3. Atlanta comes up as many expect to grab Clowney, We get at least 6, 2nd rd pick and a 4th..

4. Browns take Watkins

5.Oakland takes Teddy

6. Dallas take Johnny

17 Jags take Nix, Ford, Ebron???

For months ive had the feeling that Dallas is going to do something crazy and come get Johnny. This is very off the wall I understand but Jerry is crazy

 

Scenario 3

1.Houston takes Bortles

2.Rams take Robinson

3. Browns take Watkins-Ive heard/read that the Browns LOVE Watkins and want to pair him with Gordon (sick)

4. Jags take Clowney

26. Jags take Xavier Su

I understand how ridiculous this is but its not out of the realm of possibilities. When has the Browns organization done anything remotely logical.

 

 

Scenario 4

1.Houston take Bortles

2.Rams take Robinson

3.Detroit take watkins

10. Jags take Mike Evans-acquire 2nd, 4th, 2015 First rd pick

 

Scenario 5

1.Houston take Bortles

2.Rams take Robinson

3.Jags take Clowney.

 

 

Scenario 6

1.Houston take Clowney

2.Rams take Watkins

3. Jags select Manziel/Teddy/Blake/Mack

 

Scenario 7

1.Houston Takes Clowney

2. Rams take Watkins

3. Bucs take Mack

4.Browns take Manziel

5.Oakland takes Teddy

6. Atlanta takes Mathews/Robinson

7 Jags take Bortles- we Acquire 2nd, 3rd, and 2nd next year

 

 

 

Scenario 8 and the most idiotic but I saw it a few weeks ago from a writer but not a credible one

1.Houston takes Bortles

2.Rams take Robinson

3.Niners sell their soul for Watkins...yes Its idiotic but I thought yall would laugh...In this scenario we would obvously coup their entire class and some from next year. They did trade for Gabbert so who knows, but i give this less than a 5% chance of being real. The writer might just be tallking out of his rectum with no knowledge.

 

 

I know some of these are crazy, there is a lot of smoke out there and this is just smoke that ive put together here. I believe that we are in the premium spot and our phone is going to ring off the hook if Clowney/Watkins are on the board at 3. While I think that we should draft Clowney if given the chance, I also understand that we are building a future and one guy wont do it. If we can add multiple mid round picks this year then we can add some solid pieces. With this draft being this deep, the 2nd and 3rd rounds are gold mines. The more guys we can pick up in the 2/3 rounds the better we will do in the future. I believe if given the chance to acquire extra 2nd day picks we will for the right price. I dont believe that Teddy is worth the 3rd pick in this draft BUT if we can get him at 6 then Id be happy. Id still prefer Manziel over Teddy for many reasons.
