Why is an attempt at voter accuracy a witch hunt fuel by racism and xenophobia? Whats wrong with wanting to genuinely enforce election rules?  Asking sincerely. If im the voters of Ohio tonight, i at least feel better about the accuracy of my voting database, if nothing else.  Both sides of the aisle should be backing efforts like this.

Finding the illegal non citizen voters is not racism and not xenophobia.

Trying to make a big news story out of a big effort that only found 137 suspected illegal registrations is playing to racism and xenophobia.

Correcting 137 erroneous registrations is a normal day at the office, unless you're playing to the ignorant, or to racists and xenophobes.

Voters in Ohio should feel good. Voters in other states shouldn't even be aware.
