…which doesn’t change a thing.  The NFL didn’t ‘give them the toughest schedule’.  It’s all predetermined.  The divisions that you play are determined a couple of years in advance and the rest is determined by your previous year’s record.

The Jags play their division opponents in a surprisingly competitive division (6 games)
A game against each team in a rotating, pre-determined AFC division (4 games)
A game against each team in a rotating, pre-determined NFC division (4 games)
A game each against the other 2nd-place finishers in the rest of the AFC (2 games)
A game against another 2nd place finisher in the NFC, which can be only one of 3 teams (1 game)

There's only 3 games the Jags will play this year that were determined by our performance last year, and of that 3, only one that the league has any say over.  Maybe the commish DOES hate us, but you have to look elsewhere to prove it.
