I know its an out there theory. And again, its about "intangibles" not actual talent. Gurley the RB looks to have loads of talent. Something just always seems to go wrong though in the end, for some of these. 

 

What are YOUR rules then for goofy sounding names? This way I can bust up your ridiculous theory using your own reasoning.

 

Because at this point you just saying player X is going to be bad based on a name and when a "goofy" name is shown you pretty much say that isn't goofy.

 

So far all I gather by your reasoning is that Luck could be considered a goofy name depending on how he played in Indy?
