Does "Teddy Bridgewater" also sound like a football type star name as well to me? Yep, sure does. 

 

Is the "name" going to supercede anything else in the evaluation process to make me select or avoid him in the draft? No way. But as I subconsciously and consciously go over all the players I've watched become stars in this league, "Teddy Bridgewater" just does have that feel of a successful player to it. 

 

Its like an intangible. 

 

Ok but there are many guys that have "names that sound like a football star" that have also busted/flamed out of the NFL as well. Probably just as many success/failure ratio as those that have "goofy football names". For every one that was successful there is probably one that wasn't if you look through history.

 

And yes Gurley is not draft eligible until next year. 

 

Also, to get back on topic. I really like James White from Wisconsin. I think he is the most complete RB in the entire draft (blocking, rushing, and receiving).
