Wasn't a fan really, but yes he was a big part of local sports talk radio here for a long time. So, RIP David.
The last I'd heard from him he would call in to 1010 periodically during Covid. I might catch a couple of hours worth of 1010 per month at best though so not sure how active he was there in recent years. The majority of the station sucks but it's what we have for local sports talk. The only personalities I really care for are Hicken, Mike Dempsey, Hacker, Campo and any former Jags that are on like Searcy, Lageman, Boselli, etc. Hacker's voice grated on me for a long time, but once you get passed it he's actually not bad with his commentary. |
