Well, I think that reinforces the point I was making.  Guys who can do everything a franchise back can do are rare.  Add to that their short shelf life and the rules favoring the passing game, and you have the current NFL situation.  Have 3 or 4 backs to fill those roles that cost you less than the cost of the 1 franchise back.
