Great deals to be had at all three of the current Florida usual suspects (Publix, Winn-Dixie, Aldi)

Since I don't really have time to hit all three in one day to do a weekly shop, I alternate between them from week to week. I'll stock up a bit if there's an especially good deal at each/any of them.

Best example I can offer as to why I utilize all three is that if I just walk into Publix and get exactly what I want - I'm going to pay a bit of a premium. If I look at that Publix receipt/list and find a few equal but more affordable alternatives at WD and Aldi, I'll end up saving quite a bit by purchasing those particular items at the discount competitor rather than Publix when possible.

Inflation has affected a few items that are essential at the grocery store, but it is probably the least consequential area affecting the cost of living in Florida compared to where we were prior to the latest real estate market jump and coinciding rate hike.

It is rent or home ownership/insurance costs that have seen the most egregious shift.
Auto insurance has taken a nasty little jump as well.
