I agree.   Trevor isn't elite yet.  He wasn't paid because he's elite right now.   He was paid because this owner, gm and coach think that he has the potential to beat anyone else playing QB in this league...including Mahomes.

Here's a list of the top QBs Trevor HAS beaten...with arguably a worse team.

Josh Allen
Lamar Jackson
Justin Herbert (twice)
Dak Prescott

..and he SHOULD have beaten Burrow in 21.

I don't think anyone that post on this forum thinks that Trevor is great yet.   And he may never be great.

But we know that with a poorer team than those other QBs he's been able to beat them for a day.  I'm not even going to throw in CJ because he's so young.

Again, I never said Lawrence sucks. Actually, I said he is a very good QB.

But I can name several QBs who have some wins against really good QBs. Is Ryan Tannehill a better QB than Trevor? Well, he has a winning record and also wins against really good QBs. You can cherry pick stuff to brag about for a lot of QBs. Doesn't put them among the best QBs in the game.

Be happy that the Jags have a very talented QB. Hopefully the best is yet to come from Trevor.
