Some feel a franchise QB should get a decent team over the hump to being a contender. Trevor has a chance to do that in year 4. Proving the naysayers wrong is only added motivation.

They're over the hump with him though already. He proved it in 2022 and he was off to a great start in 2023 prior to that ankle injury.

This is why this fanbase gets riled up with the casuals and box score readers. It was clear this team was poised to replicate or surpass what they did in 2022 in 2023.

So, the Jaguars are actual contenders to winning it all? They are over the hump and are true contenders right now. Ok, I truly hope that is proven to be true this season on the grass.
