That's because he grew accustomed to having a wolf immediately on his back or a bear in his face from the hand off without even taking two or three steps to get his speed going. Etienne has a [BLEEP] ton of untapped potential. He's getting closer to his contract extension or option. I expect him to run his [BLEEP] off even more these next two years. 

I don't see them keeping him long term. I hate it. I love the RB position, but, it's just been devalued too much for them to consider keeping him around at a costly price tag. They also keep drafting RB's and I doubt they took Bigsby as early as they did last year with the intent of him being a RB2 for four to five years. 

Etienne is underrated though. Held back tremendously by this offensive line. I had high expectations for him. Was expecting an AFC version of Alvin Kamara to be honest with you when he came out of Clemson with Lawrence. I still think he's underutilized in the passing game as well.
