If the other open air stadiums in the south can hack the heat, then Jags fans can. It gets hot in Wisconsin in September as well. At this rate the NFL will just have Lambeau Field and the rest of the league will be playing football in living rooms. Killing the game. We can't allow it.

We've been hacking the heat for 30 years.  Do you go to these games?  They are [BLEEP] HOT.  I'd much rather go to a game in a stadium with a roof on it.  

There aren't many open-air stadiums left in the South.  Miami has a roof.  Atlanta has a roof.  New Orleans has a roof.  So does Houston.  And Dallas.  And Tampa.  

There's a good reason for having a roof that overrides all the nostalgia for mud games and ice bowls.  Besides, with ticket prices being what they are these days, tickets are a lot more attractive if you know in advance the game will not be played in a monsoon, or in 100 degree heat, which we have around here.  I know, football can be very comedic when it's played in a monsoon, but it's not really football in those conditions.
