Part of the reason why a lot of RB aren't making big bucks is that they are fairly easy to replace. Not saying that Etienne is a commonplace RB, but in two years if we run his legs off or he gets one wrong hit low we may be looking at a much different Etienne then we are today.

With his position (not him, necessarily), you wait until the eleventh hour to do the deals.
