Axelrod on CNN after the debate chastised the republican across the table about Trump being in trouble if the top of the ticket changed for the Dems.   Axelrod is a political hack as is most everyone at CNN and he was clearly saying whatever he could to save face after a terrible performance by his guy.  A lot of time between now and the election and anything can happen, but Trump isn't in trouble at all at this moment and looks to be cruising to victory.

Why though? With Michelle? So they can finish their job in the Middle East and further expand upon Bush Jr's "Patriot Act" laws and keep going after free speech and independent journalists? 

No thanks. Race relations would just be worse than it was with Barack, because now it's a Black Woman instead of a Black Man in the office. The narratives would be spun right back around on white people being too critical, racism this, racism that. 

What a [BLEEP] joke of a candidate at this point. The left has lost this one. Said it numerous time. Over the past eight [BLEEP] years, since 2016, instead of building up a perfect candidate, developing a better ideology as a party, they kept going after Trump, whether he was or was not in power, using everything they could to stop him instead of just offering the country a viable alternative. 

The political system here is garbage. It is what it is at this point, but, even if Trump gets in for the next four years, he's not the same man he was in 2016. He'll maybe alleviate some of our current problems, but, once he's done? Then what? 

We're right back to Warhawks in the White House and RINO's running the table again from the right. And then these Neoliberals will continue their social agenda nonsense some more to dumb down yet another generation of children that are being raised by parents that were put into an identity crisis the previous decade before.

The veep pick is key.  Trump will be a lame duck in 2 years.  And I agree Michelle would be a bad candidate but that hasn't stopped people from voting for someone before and Obama is still well regarded on that side of the aisle.  Romney and McCain were both awful candidates and not my primary choice the years they were the nominee and I voted for them in the general anyway.
