Its the Democratic policies that have gotten us here.  Look at the insane way Newsome Runs California.  People are becoming wise and tired of this [BLEEP].  Biden is also bringing in the illegals to A. Schwarzenegger didn't have much success making CA a nice place either.
There's a lot of crappiness just baked in to CA at this point, the levels of inequality and homelessness are just wild and no one wants to fix it.
Newsom has done some good things.  He is bucking the old Democrat consensus and trying to actually get homes built.  They've let their housing shortage fester since the early 1980s when Newsom was in middle school.   It'll take decades for them to actually get out of the hole they're in and Newsom will be in the retirement home by then anyhow.
