Trump doesn't have to openly declare "constitution over, me dictator now." Even Putin left office for a while.  But he put his favored lap dog in there to keep his seat warm.  One scenario is, Trump appoints a compliant successor, then abuses his power every way to Sunday to make sure that successor wins in 2028.  He already tried to prosecute a political opponent for a totally made up crime once. And he is promising to do it again. He won't have to beg Ukraine or another country to get involved this time. He will have enough lackies at DOJ all the way up and down that they will all cooperate to make up and prosecute charges.

What in the world?   You must be off your meds.  Wild imagination indeed, which happens to be the main ingredient required for a good conspiracy theory.   Actually, this one sounds kinda like it could also fit the current resident of the oval office depending on how loyal the inner circle is to Jill vs. former President Obama.  Biden in his current mental state with a willing accomplice media would be the perfect lap dog in your scenario above, wouldn't he?

I have little doubt Mike lifted this scenario from a left wing hate site, although I’m sure he’ll deny it. But that’s neither here nor there. What this fantasy presents is the MSM narrative for the next four years if Trump is elected. It was the false narrative of Russia collusion before, now it will be the relentless drumbeat of conspiracy to overthrow democracy.
