You're missing the point.  I'm not so worried about the possibility that the 48th president, elected in 2028, might be a lapdog for Trump, allowing Trump to effectively stay in power.

I'm worried that Trump and his team may have, before 2028, so captured our justice apparatus that no one was able to effectively oppose their chosen 2028 candidate.  A world where opposing donors and journalists are constantly harassed and some go to jail.

Based on what?  He held the office for 4 years and wasn't successful in accomplishing what you suggest above.  He had an opportunity to put 3 conservative justices on the high court.  The difference between conservative justices and libs is that the conservatives that find themselves on the court apparently don't vote in lock step to the same degree the libs do.  They are conservative, yet based on how votes break down and how they've historically broken down in recent memory appear to, as a group, be much more fair and open minded and less activist than their lib counterparts.  That doesn't lend itself to "capturing the justice apparatus".  Also, didn't some Trump appointed judges in lower courts thwart his efforts in contesting the previous election results?

The current regime is actively involved at this very moment in an attempt to put him, their political rival, in jail, yet you hurl the accusation for such behavior back at him?  We know the Biden regime met with the Georgia prosecution team.  An official from the current regime also left to join the prosecution team in NY.  The previous Obama regime spied on his campaign in an attempt to illegally thwart his election. Everything you are saying will happen has either already relatively recently happened in reverse or is happening now with willing accomplices in the media to shield your eyes for you.  You're more worried about a potential turnabout than the actual crimes of the current and former Democratic administrations?  This is why people here generally don't take you seriously when you self identify as right leaning and/or Republican. It's selective outrage that almost always falls the same way coupled with jumping into political threads to 'splain for everyone why Dem individuals or Dem causes are really virtuous and should be above reproach.  You can have the last word, but I'm probably done with this for now.  Too much of a time waste.
