If Doug wanted to call plays he would be calling plays. The last straw in Philly was Rosen demanding that he STOP calling plays and he refused. Everyone wants to stick this on Press Taylor, but Pederson will do what he wants and the offense was NO DIFFERENT when Taylor called the plays than it was the year before. Play selection by personnel, formation, down and distance, run pass mix...all of these things were statistically the same year to year. Everything about the offensive struggles this year were because the line let Lawrence get his [BLEEP] kicked every play. That's it...that's the only issue. Whether that's because they couldn't run block for [BLEEP] or they couldn't give him 2.5 seconds to pass, the line, not the play calls, were the issue. And if that's not fixed it doesn't matter if it's Taylor, Pederson, Reid, or the Ghost of Bill Walsh calling the plays, the offense won't work. If you guys are putting your hopes on Pederson calling the plays and that being the difference then you're in for a huge disappointment.
