Assuming all continues to go relatively stable for Trump, I think there is only 1 person the Dems can place as a candidate that has a decent chance of beating Trump, and that is Michelle Obama.  Sounds crazy, but the Obama White House possibility would get the Dems off the couch and down to the voting booths.  As it currently stands, most (possibly including me) will be sitting at home on election day.

After the Debate trump did the wisest thing ever. He shut up and let the liberal media eat itself. The silence was deafening.
