How Many Draft Picks Should Start?

#23

Quote:Good point but I don't agree with your details.

It's unlikely that we get an upgraded starter (by week 1 without injury) at RT DE CB QB TE. There is only one WR (Watkins) that would start over cecil if blackmon is playing. I could very much see a new center and right guard start week 1. A high pick for OLB could start too. FS as well, probably converted from corner.

I see 4 or 5. 2 out of the first 3 rounds. Then 2 more significant contributors from the 4/5th round selections. One more from the 6/7/UDFA crowd.

RT becomes a need if Paztor slides to RG...pretty sure a starter will come at RT/RG through the draft.

DE: IF we go Clowney he slides in...Ford/Crichton in the 2nd round could see a lot of the field...but behind 1st/2nd round I agree

CB: We still need a 2nd CB so someone could easily slide into that spot

QB: Unless its #3 or one of the QBs falls into our 2nd pick ...I agree

TE: I could see a TE seeing the field a lot in 2TE packages or if we draft a receiving type TE
