Both of those players were amongst the best at their position, not only when they played, but both arguably are amongst the tops of the position vs others who have played it historically. Maybe not by "stats" in Fred's case, because of the injuries, but even people like Jim Brown know that Fred was amongst the best RB to ever play the position. Boselli as well for his position. Those 2 would have been sure fire NFL HOF locks if injury didn't take so much time away from either. 

 

Mojo isn't that. Very good, but was never considered amongst the best at his position as an all timer. 

 

So in order to be the ROH you have to have been amongst the best at your position...

 

One could argue that MJD, since being named the starter, has been amongst the best at his position and could still be had injuries not slowed him.

 

Also I don't know about sure fire HOF'ers...like I said Fred was not even viewed as the best RB in the AFC some years...not that I agree...also I am not campaigning for MJD to be in the ROH...I jsut think it could be easily argued that he belongs.
