I agree with the Press Taylor play calling point, in particular.  It's not like Pederson is sitting back and listening to offensive play-calling thinking 'Man what a stupid call, I would have called this...maybe Press will be better in the next game'...for 17 straight games.  Pederson is in charge of the whole team, specifically the offense side as the team is running his offense.  No matter who is relaying the calls to Lawrence, it's his job to take responsibility for the outcome.  The concept that Press Taylor is the 'fall guy' if it doesn't work out is equally silly.

I think this is the negative aspect of the access we have in the modern world and it just feeds the illusion on expertise. The people who give these opinions know so little and yet are continually so confident in their assertions about contracts, draft picks, free agent signings, coaches, play calling, down to the who is doing what on a minute by minute basis...they literally think they know more about the offense than the guys who built it and are immersed in it all day long every day. When you step back and look at it, it's just laughable. Sadly, it's also replete throughout our society in every industry and every topic of discussion.
