Trevor had 2 years left on his contract.  They tacked on 5 more years at $275 million.  That makes 7 years at $275 million plus what was left on the last 2 years of his old contract.

And Tua's contract, as best I can tell, is 5 years, $235 million.  That would be $47 million per year.  

Jordan Love's contract, as best I can tell, is 5 years, $237 million.  That would be about $47.4 million per year.  

They're tacking these new contracts onto the end of their old contracts, which brings the average down, but the agents want to announce as big a deal as possible so they leave out the fact that the new contract doesn't start for a year or two.

The Lawrence contract and the Taylor play calling things might be some of the dumbest whining I've ever heard from an NFL fanbase. And I lived though the '76 Bucs.

Plus the fact that none of them actually look to realize that it is only $138 over the next 5 years, and the Jags can cut him for zero dead cap hit after 2028 if they need to.

Heck in the worse case, they can cut him after 2027 for only $7.5 dead cap and having only paid him $91 over those prior 4 years.
