There are about a dozen or so well documented "mutations" of chromosomes, and also fetal hormone responses, and hormone developments during puberty that all fall into an "intersex" category.  And many of them have made the Olympics.

You are trying to muddy it and call it intersex instead of answering the question. No one cares if they are intersex, it's not about the parts or what they call themselves. There is a simple blood test to determine if you are male or female. Any extra X or Ys still make you XY or XX. You can have both, extra, none, etc parts that make you intersex but that doesn't determine your DNA.
