100 years ago there was no testosterone test.  It wasn't possible.  They did physical examination only.  A woman configured like one of these boxers 100 years ago would have been allowed to compete as a woman.

I'm pointing a forest out to you and you're arguing over the first tree you come to.
The main point is, intersex people have always existed.  Whether 10 years ago or 100 years ago or 1000 years ago.  Women's sports haven't always existed.  But as soon as women's sports came into existence, intersex people were participating as women.  Later, testing for intersex conditions became available.  Before that testing existed, the only way to check was physical examination.  Many intersex conditions manifest with normal looking genitals.
