Regardless of Trump, I don't think the Democrats really had any other choice after the debate.  The truth about his mental acuity (or, more accurately, lack thereof) was exposed to the entire world.  They simply couldn't risk putting him on a stage again.

Agree. They were reticent about promoting Harris but had no choice. They've wisely come up with a strategy of just keeping her quiet. With almost 3 months left before the election, it's going to be a tall order. But then again, with a platform bereft of any policy except race and gender, the abetting MSM may be able to stretch it out. Especially when catering to a constituency which centers all of its beliefs around race and gender.
