I thought Lawrence looked good.  Not sure what happened on the 4th down play.  based on some comments maybe he was looking for the deeper route first instead of Engram.  I've always wondered if something like this is a weakness in his game.  Would an elite QB instinctively know who is most likely to come open and look their first?  Or as the play develops would the elite QB come off the deeper route earlier allowing them to see Engram?  Does he focus on the initial read a split second longer than he should?  Maybe too critical.

He does look for the deeper route instinctively, and that's a really good thing most of the time. Not a weakness. 
Situational awareness could be better at times in that regard - but not really in this case. 

The underneath route on the sack took 2.8 seconds to get uncovered because the play call had Engram fake outside then shift back inside. Not a wise call on 4th and 5 with a blitzer matched on a RB. 

Would have been better to have another shallow route to choose from minus the double move instead of sending 3 guys intermediate or deep. Trevor had to wait beyond 2.5 seconds to throw it and that is a no-no on 3rd or 4th down when a blitz is anticipated. The line + a RB in protection aren't going to hold up beyond 2.5 seconds very often at all according to all the accumulated data collected over the past several years.
