Florida Pimary Election

I got my mail in ballot and only recognized two candidates- one being Rick Scott. Who the hell is John Columbus?
I have no idea who should be "state committeeman." They even have a separate vote for "state committeewoman." Why the two separate categories? Then they have eight people running for "Precinct Committeeman," including the ubiquitous Jim Overton, the other candidate I recognize, because he is ALWAYS running for something. I looked up the candidates for School Board, to see if any of them would say they oppose shutting down my neighborhood school, and none of them say a thing about it. All their websites spout the same pablum about educating the kids, etc. |
