His rookie year with the Pats was carried by a top 5 rushing attack and a top 5 Defense. That team literally won a game (against the Bills and not some scrub team) with Mac completing a grand total of 2 Passes throughout the entire game lol. One of which was in the final minutes.

He made the pro bowl his rookie season, and then Bill Belichick took a guy who had never coached offense in his life and made him the offensive coordinator, and he took another guy who never coached offense in his life and made him the quarterback coach.  That's what happened in New England.
They took a guy who made the pro bowl as a rookie quarterback, and when Josh McDaniels left, they replaced him with a couple of guys who never coached offense in their entire life.
They had a good quarterback, and they wrecked his career.  
But I'm looking at the guy now and he's a good quarterback for us.  Because he's getting some decent coaching.
