Did Josh Allen win that game throwing 30 times and completing half of those? Mac's arm is NFL caliber but not everyone has a Howitzer to throw through 40 mph gusts. How many QB's in today's NFL have the arm to be consistent throwing the ball in 40 mph winds? This is a weird hill to die on.

A strong rushing attack and a strong Defense is a QBs best friend, which was the case for Mac's rookie year.

Andy Dalton was the ultimate average at best game managing QB, so yea that comp makes sense.

Yes because the Defense and Runningbacks threw the ball for Mac and thats how he accumulated those good numbers throwing the ball that first year. The Defense and running game didn't really change during his time in NE, the fact that he went from an actual OC to a DC calling the offense did change however. 

I mean if being a 3x probowler is average at best to you then I guess we fundamentally disagree on what "average" is.
