Unfortunately, most of the people who care about global warming are environmentalists who only want to "restore" and "heal" the environment, not intentionally engineer it.  Either that or they're goons who are just looking for a way to wreck western economies.

If we start dumping iron nanoparticles in the dead zones of the oceans, and start pumping sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere, we can reduce global temperatures fairly quickly.

I agree it is real. The earth is on a 2500 year cycle (the Aztec's have it right) It has been through this at least the last 10,000 years.  The scientist know this from ice cores taken from both the Arctic and Antarctica. We have approximately the same temps and air content (carbon dioxide and other elements) in the atmosphere as we had 2,500/5,000/7500/10,000 years ago. There were no autos/industry/cows farting back then and the population was much lower. Humans have had an effect on this but only about 1%. What is going to happen in this cycle cannot be controlled by humans.  We are getting close to the time when other inputs which actually are the driving force begin to take effect and cooling will begin.(current estimate is 2 to 5 degrees possibly triggering an ice age) Some say 2030 but the plus or minus on that can be 50 years or so.  That is why the terminology was changed from "Global Warming" to "Climate Change".  I feel the Aztecs just dropped the ball not attaching a begin date to their calendar ! 

Bottom line any time someone puts together a forecast based on 60 years of tree rings from one county in England and only uses 30 of them cause the math won't work otherwise, laugh at it. That was the UN chart that got all this started. It was disproved within 90 days.
